Is PayUp Hub free?
Yes. The current Free plan costs $0, requires no card, has no trial expiration, and supports documented operational limits.
Can it move payroll money or file taxes?
No. It calculates deterministic sandbox estimates and creates statements and journal entries, but it cannot debit accounts, originate ACH, send deposits, file returns, or remit taxes.
Can anyone sign up?
Yes. Anyone may create an account, but the email must be verified. Private company data requires an active membership with an authorized role and scope.
Can one account use multiple companies?
Yes. Membership is company-specific, and switching companies is accepted only after the server verifies the user has an active membership.
Why can't I approve the payroll I prepared?
Separation of duties prevents one member from preparing and approving the same run. Invite a second member with payroll approval access.
Which integrations work today?
The application has connector-ready boundaries and a sandbox entitlement. Live accounting, banking, tax, benefits, identity, and communications integrations need credentials, contracts, webhook verification, and provider-specific certification.
